Welcome to DivorceCare!
Our next 13-week session begins on Monday, August 26, 2024.
DivorceCare is a place where you'll meet other people who are healing from the pain of separation and divorce. Through this group program, you’ll discover practical tools to help you navigate this major life change. As facilitators, we aim to create a safe place for all attendees. You won’t be judged and you will find encouragement and hope.
DivorceCare offers a 3-part approach:
VIDEO WITH EXPERTS
During the first 30 minutes of each meeting, your group will watch a video featuring respected experts on divorce and recovery subjects. Their insights help you understand and work through anger, grief, loneliness, and other topics.
DISCUSSION WITH PURPOSE
After the video, your group will share their reactions and talk about what they learned. Group members will also share updates on their trials and experiences from the past week. This is a valuable time to find emotional support, share ideas, and explore solutions.
PERSONAL REFLECTION
When you register, you’ll be ordering a workbook filled with tips, timely articles, and tools for personal growth. These activities are designed to move you through the healing process. You'll find help for managing stress, facing financial and legal issues, making parenting decisions, and much more. If you can't afford the workbook right now, scholarships are available to cover the cost -- indicate that in your registration.
