Divorce Care is a biblically based lay-led support group program to help people hurting from the pain of divorce, separation or contemplating one or the other. So many emotions. So many challenges. You don’t have to go through it alone. Divorce Care offers support, answers, and practical tools to help you manage the many stresses around these areas and help to find healing. It is designed to encourage reconciliation whenever possible.

This is a 14-week program. There is a Fall and Spring program. The Fall program runs from September 7, 2024 thru December 14, 2024. The Spring program runs from January 11, 2025 thru April 5, 2025. Anyone can join at anytime during the Fall and/or Spring program depending on availability.

Each participant will be provided their own Divorce Care Workbook when they arrive. Child care may be available if there is a need. Please inquire if child care is provided.

We offer Divorce Care for Kids (ages 5-12) starting Sundays, September 15 thru December 15, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Worship And Youth Building located at 1314 Sumter St, Suites 7-10 in Leesburg, FL. To register students contact Church of the Lakes either at the number or website listed above. The same topics are covered with the children as the adults to help them both heal from the pain of separation or divorce. We combine games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted. Best of all, children will learn how God’s love can strengthen them and help turn years to hope and joy!
